What is it?
You can now securely link your Barclays Business Banking directly into your Crunch account. This means your business bank statements appear in your Crunch account twice a week, ready to be reconciled. No more fiddling with .CSV files or reconciling using the paper method.
The best part is this service is all yours for free. All you need to do is hook them up and you’re away.Enabling this in your Crunch account is nice and straightforward, but before you get started please read the following:
This service only supports Barclays Business accounts. The service is not currently available for Commercial Barclaycard accounts
You have added your Barclays account as a bank account in Crunch

How to integrate your bank account with us
As with all banking integrations, you need to first provide consent - it is banking after all and so there's always some form or permission that needs to be granted. We've tried our best to make it as pain-free as possible but please be aware that the application process and linking of the Barclays account is handled solely by Barclays Data Services. We're unable to call on your behalf as they need to validate your company for security reasons.
To get started, head over to the banking tab and click expand on the bank account you want to integrate. As long as the account is set up correctly then the system will recognise the Barclays sort-code and the green Bank Feed available button will be available:
Click on this, then you will need to read and accept the service agreement to proceed to the next step.
You'll be whisked away to the Barclays Data Services registration page where you'll need to enter a few details. We've populated as much as we can to help speed up the process.
It is important to note that in order to protect your data you will need to confirm your identity with Barclays before your data feed commences. You will need to have a telephone banking passcode to do this. If you are not already registered for Barclays telephone banking you will need to follow the information provided on this page to get set up. It may take a few days to complete this.
Once you've completed the form, you will then be presented with your unique registration token number. All you need to do is call the number displayed and run through a few security questions - please make sure you have your registration token number, sort code and account number handy, as without this you will not be able to proceed. Your token is active for 30 days so if the application isn't complete within this time, you will need to start again and get a new token.
Remember, you must do this for each bank account that you have with Barclays - you won't be able to active more than 1 account using the same token.
I want it now! How long does it take?
It should be around 24-48 hours for the process to be completed but please do not worry if you don't see statements in your Crunch Account for a few days - we upload these on Tuesdays and Fridays. When we do, we'll shoot you an email to notify you.
When will my statements be uploaded?
Statement uploads will be carried out on a Tuesday and Friday by 5.15pm.
What about historic statements, will the live feed pick these up?
The first time Barclays send us your statement data, they will send us 40 days' worth of historic information, if it is available. If you need historical statements from before then, you can download them using your online Barclays Banking account.
I've got a gap in my statement, what can I do?
This can happen when there are missing entries from your last statement upload date to the next - it's simply a case of locating the gap and creating a .CSV for the missing entries. If you get stuck, send your Client Manager PDFs or .CSVs relevant to the missing gap and we'll fix for you.
I use Scanfeed, how do I migrate over to the new system?Simple, let your Account Manager know and we'll cancel your Scanfeed account. Once done, you'll be able to head over to Your Crunch - Subscription - Barclays BankBolt and set up using the instructions above. We'd advise to reconcile your account as up to date before cancelling Scanfeed.
How do I cancel?
You will need to call Barclays Data Services to cancel the feed and just drop us an email to let us know.
