Sometimes you may need to remove an earlier banking statement that had been uploaded in your Crunch account, or, you may need to remove a handful of “unreconciled entries” in your account. Either way, there’s a very simple process to follow in order to do this correctly.
How to view & delete your previously imported bank statements
Make sure you’re logged in and on your ‘Banking > Dashboard’
Select ‘Expand’ on the relevant bank account
Select ‘View statement uploads’
Select the ‘Options’ menu next to the statement you’re looking to remove, and then select ‘Delete’.
If the "Delete" option is “greyed out” you will need to unreconcile the bank statement before deleting it. On some occasions, you may not be able to delete the statement - this is usually because you’ve got some reconciled entries against that banking statement meaning it’s “locked” in Crunch.
You’ll need to unreconcile the Crunch account back to the last transaction of the previous statement - for example, if you want to remove a statement in February, consider unreconciling to the end of January.
