This article will show you how to link your Crunch account to your Cater Allen bank account to securely transfer your statement entries directly from the bank to your account, ready for reconciliation.
Linking your account to your Cater Allen bank account in the way described below will never give us or any third party the ability to transact on that bank account. It will only enable access to transactional data/information which is required in order to upload your statements.
If you set up your Cater Allen account through us then you will have already agreed to us providing this service for you and it's ready to go.
If you already hold an account with Cater Allen and did not set it up through us, you will need to download the Change of Adviser template letter, which is attached at the bottom of this article, fill in your details and send it to Cater Allen, using the address on the letter.
The second step is to make sure the account is ready for the integration. To do this, make sure that the correct sort code and account number are saved on the account. You can click expand and edit account details to make these changes.
If your Cater Allen account has been active for some time then you will need to reconcile to within XX days otherwise the integration won’t pick up new transactions.
The final step is to activate the service on your account. To do so, click expand on the Cater Allen account then the green ‘Bank Feed Available’ button. This will open up a box with more information. You’ll need to read and accept the Service Description and then click Accept & Activate to enable the integration.
Then, once Cater Allen have processed your authorisation (after approximately ten days), we will begin automatically uploading your statement entries on a weekly basis. Every time new statement entries are automatically uploaded, you'll be sent an email to let you know your statement is ready to be reconciled.
We will be unable to upload any backdated statements.
